Tips 3 - Spend your morning jogging, walking or biking at the Monon Trail, the Urban Greenway that is considered as the busiest place in the Indianapolis. Conseco Fieldhouse is one the best places in the world to view a basketball match. It has been internationally acclaimed for the amount of service, facilities and seating arrangements inside the stadium. This beautiful stadium is home to the Indiana Pacers of the NBA league and also to the Indiana Fever which is part of the women's NBA league.

After its opening ceremony in 1999 the Conseco Fieldhouse has hosted a number of events including the Big Ten Conference men's basketball tournaments in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008. Apart from basketball the other major event held here was the WWE's SummerSlam in 2008.

This magnificent location keeps hosting a number of events throughout the year. Some of the most awaited events for this year are:

1. Concerts

In the month of September, '09 the American Idol tour will hit Indianapolis and this venue will host the auditions on September 5th, '09.

Another major event in this month will be the much anticipated Mettalica Live Show on September 17th.

2. Fieldhouse Events

Some of the other events that will take place in July are the Walking with the Dinosaurs theatrical from July 8th to 12th. In the month of August the Women of Faith will present A Grand New Day from 7th to 8th August. The much awaited Ringling Bros Circus will hit this town on the 10th of September and go on until the 13th of September.
