The Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana is one of the finest stadiums in the state. Inaugurated in 2008 this grand stadium has a retractable roof and can seat 63,000 to 70,000 fans. This new stadium is also home to the NFL's Indianapolis Colts and will have the privilege of hosting the Super Bowl XLVI in 2012.

The seating capacity at the stadium depends on the type of event. It is different for events such as concerts, football games and basketball games. More fans can be accommodated for a concert or a basketball game (maximum 70,000), however for a football game the capacity decreases (maximum 63,000).
