The present day structure of the Pepsi Coliseum was created in the year 1939, as mentioned previously, to replace an arena that had earlier been built in the spot in the year 1907. The Pepsi Coliseum is the home to the Indiana Ice team which is a part of the Central Hockey League. The Pepsi Coliseum has hosted a number of other teams as well such as the Indiana Pacers and the Indianapolis Checkers.
