Take a Tour to Lucas Oil Stadium: One of the Newest Multi-Purpose Sports Stadium in Indianapolis

Lucas Oil Stadium is basically a sports venue in Indianapolis. It was established on 16th August 2008 on the place of the RCA Dome. Trade shows, exhibitions and conventions are also held in this stadium. This is a premier ground for NCAA Basketball Championship and the stadium also happens to be the home of NFL's Indianapolis Colts. The roof of this stadium is retractable and this unique feature makes it easy for the stadium to organize both indoor and outdoor events.

The stadium constitutes of 7 floors and is capable of accommodating 70,000 patrons during concerts, basketball matches and conventions and 63,000 for football matches. The stadium is well facilitated with other amenities including 2 display halls, conference rooms, 2 club lounges and 137 suites of corporate nature. In short it is one of the best multipurpose facilities the city has seen.

The Indiana Convention Center is connected to the Lucas Oil Stadium and hence holds events like Circle City Classic and Indiana Black Expo. Other events include rodeos, motorsports, singing band competitions and IHSAA tournaments. The large window to the north of the building offers a stunning view of the Downtown.
